Data Quality Management:
- Develop and implement data quality standards, processes, and controls.
- Monitor data quality metrics and report on data quality issues.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues and trends.
- Conduct root cause analysis of data anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
- Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze data and generate insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with data owners, stewards, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality standards are met.
- Communicate data quality issues and improvements to relevant teams and management.
- Provide training and support to staff on data quality processes and tools.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Document data quality processes, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on data quality metrics and improvement efforts.
- Maintain records of data quality issues and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving data quality and implement best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data quality management.
- Participate in data governance initiatives and contribute to data strategy development.
You have:
Education:
Bachelors Degree: In Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred: Masters degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience:
General Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a data quality, data analysis, data management, or a related role.
Industry-Specific Experience: Experience in specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) may be preferred depending on the organizations focus.
Experience with Tools: Hands-on experience with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Trillium) would be considered as advantage and good to have, experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
Project Experience: Experience with data projects, data migration, or data integration efforts.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView/Qlik Sense
Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Root cause analysis for identifying data issues.
Data Management Skills:
Understanding of data governance principles, including data stewardship, data lineage, and data privacy.
Experience with data cleansing, validation, and enrichment techniques.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot data issues and recommend practical solutions.
Creative thinking to develop new approaches to data quality challenges.
Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data.
English skills are required for communicating with Intrum colleagues and clients in 20 countries.
