We are looking for a highly qualified International Tax Manager who will play a pivotal role in executing tax strategies for our multinational organization. The primary objectives will be to keep the organization's global tax liability at the best level while ensuring compliance with international tax laws and treaties.
This role involves managing complex tax projects align with global tax regulations, monitoring of changes in tax legislation, global tax initiatives and recent court practice, overseeing tax aspects of cross-border transactions, ensuring tax compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The Tax Manager will also focus on risk mitigation, tax efficiency, compliance with OECD/EU standards, advising on tax implications during global expansion efforts, launching new products and implementing business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and coordinate international tax projects, complex cross-border transactions ensuring tax efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Advise on the tax implications of international expansion efforts, including market entry strategies, legal entity selection, and managing permanent establishment risks etc. This may involve reorganizing corporate structures, leveraging tax incentives, and optimizing supply chain and financing structures.
- Provide tax support for the groups new launches and existing products, day-to-day business support on current tax matters.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration for timely achievements.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of international tax laws across various regions.
- Provide internal advisory services for tax matters concerning corporate taxation, indirect tax, transfer pricing etc.
- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with local and global tax regulations, driving maximum efficiency.
- Develop tax methodology and related internal policies.
- Keep up with tax changes and new practices in law enforcement.
- Handle tax analysis for the agreements, processes, and documentation that come along with new business ideas.
- Methodological support and control over the preparation of tax reporting in the main locations of presence.
- Liaise with external tax consultants in different jurisdictions.
Requirements:
- Experience with transnational companies and international tax planning as a Tax Manager.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex international tax regulations and practices.
- Deep expertise with taxation for e-services, online business and corporate taxation.
- In-depth understanding of BEPS principals and their implications for multinational corporations. Knowledge and experience with EU (in particular VAT) directives would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- BIG 4 (corporate tax/international tax) experience is preferred.
- Retail, telecom, fintech business experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every candidate we meet. While getting familiar during our interview, we try to understand where your working experience, professional skills and future contribution to the company can be applied within our multiple business projects.
We don't want to set any limits, as a lot depends on seniority level and prior experience. But if we are naming the numbers, then the starting point for this role is 6500 EUR Gross per month.
