Job Responsibilities

Global mobility is about companies moving their employees around the world. This leads to all sorts of challenges including how income of these mobile employees is taxed, how they are compensated potential negative tax impact, and how they and their employers comply with income tax and social security contribution requirements. This requires cutting edge technology, global policies and clear processes to efficiently manage globally mobile populations.
KPMG's Global Mobility Services team brings together a wealth of tax, technology, immigration and mobile administration services to help out clients to manage global workforce easier, safer and more efficiently. We need your help coordinating and administrating the GMS engagements.
You will be part of an ambitious and growing GMS central team where everyone helps each other, where there is a dynamic all the way. You will be based in Riga and collaborate with KPMG team in Sweden in a hybrid setup. 
 
Your role
 
•      Become a part of a GMS central team to meet tax compliance needs of our clients by administrating, coordinating and communicating GMS processes,
•      Manage incoming correspondence from the clients and other KPMG offices, work with large data sets and process large amounts of information and process invoices,
•      Work in dynamic environment, communicate proactively with involved parties and work on multiple projects simultaneously,
•      Learn to work with different systems MS Office, PowerBI and various internal systems,
•      Work in international team and pursue everyday communication in English,
•      Bring innovative ideas on how to improve our processes and exchange your ideas with like-minded peers,
•      Work under supervision and guidance by experienced colleagues and cooperate with colleagues from the KPMG Global network;

Skills & requirements
  • You have a University degree in or are a final year student,
  • You have a keen interest in pursuing an administrative position,
  • Previous experience in performing administrative and routine tasks will be considered an advantage,
  • An overall understanding of business processes will be seen as an advantage,
  • You have a strong proficiency in MS Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook),
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; Swedish knowledge will be seen as an advantage;
 
Personality attributes  
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and have a get things done attitude,
  • You have strong communication skills that will enable you to easily interact with clients and colleagues from your own team and other KPMG offices involved in delivering services to the clients,
  • You are committed to continual learning developing new skills, taking on new responsibilities and broadening your knowledge through research,
  • You are a self-motivated and pro-active person who demonstrates good communication skills, eagerness to develop in role,
  • You can do both, work as a team player and carry out tasks individually;
