We are seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain to establish, optimize, and scale a process dedicated to processing pre-owned goods and jewelry. This role will involve developing and leading supply chain strategy, from sourcing to distribution, coordination between physical locations and digital operations and cooperation with both legal entities (corporate partners) and individual clients.

Head of Supply chain will be key in supporting our goal of scaling operations 10x within the next three years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain strategy, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on efficient, compliant, and customer-centric operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Strategy Development: Design, implement, and manage efficient supply chain processes for our physical and e-pawn shop operations.
  • Procurement: Develop and manage relationships with suppliers (both legal and physical entities) to procure goods and services needed for operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels across all locations and online platforms, ensuring optimal stock availability without overstocking.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate shipping, receiving, and distribution of goods between suppliers, customers, and pawn shop locations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external legal entities such as logistics providers, manufacturers, and wholesalers, as well as individuals (physical entities).
  • Compliance: Ensure that all supply chain processes are compliant with local regulations and company policies, especially with regard to the valuation, handling, and transfer of pledged items.
  • Systems Management: Collaborate with IT teams to optimize and maintain supply chain management software, including ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze supply chain performance metrics, provide reports to senior management, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Experience: Work closely with customer service teams to ensure that pledged items and inventory meet customer expectations in terms of quality, valuation, and delivery timelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in supply chain processes, including disruptions in procurement, logistics, or distribution, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with broader business goals, such as cost efficiency and legal compliance.

Requirements:
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, preferably in the retail or pawn shop industry.
  • Proven experience managing both digital and physical supply chain processes.
  • Strong background in setting up and scaling high-volume, multi-location operations. Experience in high-throughput environments is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, vendor management, compliance, and technology integration.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain software.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize processes.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for handling and managing pawned goods.

Compensation:
Each candidate we meet with is considered individually to understand their professional skills, experience, and how they can enrich our company, while also taking into account their personal goals and growth aspirations. The salary we offer is from 3500 - 5000 EUR gross.
