Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java and modern web frameworks.
2+ years of proven experience leading development teams, mentoring team members, and managing projects from conception to completion.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering high-quality software products on time.

Technical Skills:

Java: Strong proficiency in Java development, including core Java concepts, design patterns, and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
Web Frameworks: Expert knowledge of at least one major web framework (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.), including component-based architecture, routing, state management, and relevant libraries.
Database: Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
API Development: Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a significant plus.

Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team of developers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, product managers, and other teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Additional Technologies: Knowledge of related front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), back-end technologies (Node.js), or mobile development (iOS, Android).

Business-Critical Services: Develop and maintain business-critical services within the internet banking domain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and architects to design and deliver integrated solutions.
RESTful API Design: Develop new services adhering to best practices based on OpenAPI and REST principles.
Team Leadership: Take on team lead responsibilities, guiding and mentoring developers to achieve project goals.
Technical Leadership: Collaborate with architecture teams, propose improvements, and lead decision-making on new implementation areas.
Solution Design: Model and implement technical design solutions to address real-world challenges within the security domain.
