We are looking for an Accountant to support the Chief Accountant with day-to-day tasks, own accounting for a few small entities, and contribute to a lean, agile finance team that values precision and proactivity.
Your responsibilities
- Assist Chief Accountant on daily and routine tasks (e.g., bank reconciliations, advance payments, PPE, invoice processing)
- Ensure routine and regular booking posting in the accounting system
- Perform monthly payroll calculations
- Preparation of various internal reports and external statistical reports
- Assist Chief Accountant with tax reporting
- Be in charge of accounting for 2-3 small related companies (with a very limited number of monthly transactions)
- Other ad hoc tasks
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of work experience as an Accountant with a similar task scope in a dynamic environment
- Relevant education in Accounting is a must
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in the lending and/or the real estate industry will be considered an advantage
- Latvian and English language knowledge
- You are a team player
- You have good organizational skills
- You are ready to dig in and explore details

The salary range for this position varies from 1700-2400 EUR gross, depending on the skill set, experience, and other competencies.
