Executive Counsel (Assistant) to the Board of Directors

University degree in Law, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications in financial regulation preferred);
3+ years of experience in legal/regulatory/corporate fields;
Strong expertise in Latvian and EU financial regulation;
Ability to drive and execute legal/regulatory processes independently;
Ability to manage and align internal stakeholder expectations across multiple teams;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Experience with MiFID II and FATCA/QI regime would be a plus;
Fluency in English and Latvian.

Own and lead projects in regulatory and/or compliance matters, provide strategic recommendations to support high-level decision-making;
Prepare reports, executive summaries, and presentations for management board;
Monitor and ensure certain types of regulatory reporting (in connection with MiFID II, FATCA/QI);
Support/advise the Company's management board in regulatory/compliance matters;
Participation and compliance/regulatory support in Financial/AML/Other audits of the Company;
Ensure compliance with Latvian/EU regulations applicable to the Company;
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Business, Brokerage, Customer Service teams inside the organization, act as a liaison between the Directors and key internal external stakeholders;
Work with external regulators, legal advisors, financial counterparties, and other external stakeholders when necessary;
Support Company's directors in identifying and mitigating legal/regulatory/business risks.
