Corporate & Commercial Law Lawyer
Squalio, a dynamic and innovative company, is actively seeking a forward-thinking Lawyer to join our team. As a lawyer, you will play a vital role in handling legal matters, offering legal counsel, and ensuring the legality of commercial transactions for the company. This is an excellent opportunity to provide legal support not only locally but also to our international branches.
Responsibilities:
- Review cooperation agreements and provide support to the sales department.
- Develop contracts and related documents necessary to ensure the company's commercial activities.
- Prepare legal opinions based on thorough analysis and research.
- Conduct correspondence and maintain effective communication with clients and partners.
- Conduct employee training on current legal issues when required.
- Prepare procurement documentation in cooperation with the sales department.
- Review state and local government procurement contracts and address any associated issues.
- Coordinate the flow of procurement documents.
Requirements:
- Higher legal education or currently having last year of studies in the mentioned specialty.
- Proven experience as a Lawyer.
- Excellent communication skills with a precise and detail-oriented personality.
- Ability to independently organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in commercial law, contract law required, and working with state and local government procurement is considered an advantage.
- Excellent Latvian and English language skills.
