YOUR MISSION

As a Chief Accountant, you will take ownership of headquarters accounting operations, covering statutory accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and process improvements. You will ensure activities are fully aligned with group policies and local regulations, while leading and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely postings of journal entries in line with group policy
  • Review monthly accruals and IFRS16 bookings (excluding loan portfolio accounting)
  • Perform reconciliations and account clearings
  • Lead monthly/yearly closings and coordinate annual audits
  • Prepare financial statements (annual, interim, etc.)
  • Review monthly tax reports and prepare the annual CIT declaration.
  • Supervise payroll calculations for staff
  • Ensure accurate fixed asset accounting and compliance with policies
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and local standards
  • Safeguard alignment with group accounting policies and internal procedures
  • Participate in cash flow planning
  • Drive process improvements and implement automation in daily work
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 accounting professionals

YOUR PROFILE


  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Chief Accountant (strong Senior Accountants will also be considered)
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes
  • Proven experience in preparation of annual reports
  • Solid local tax knowledge, including WHT
  • Experience working with external auditors
  • Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Excel; experience with 1C is an advantage
  • Good command of English
  • Experience in international work environments is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and punctuality
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure
