JOB MISSION
As part of the Accounting team, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting while working with one designated region in an international environment with organized workflows.
OUTCOMES
- Oversee and control financial results on a company and product-level
- Cooperate with local finance teams in the responsible region, supervising their work and deliverables
- Manage the monthly closing process
- Prepare and distribute reports of financial performance to financial and operational stakeholders, banks and authorities in a timely manner, ensuring data accuracy
- Involvement in Group external audit process
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and lead their implementation
- Establish and maintain appropriate policies, procedures and processes to ensure an effective control environment and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Record, control and execute necessary payments for the company, ensure their control, and analyze the companys cash flow
- Prepare and record company invoices and documents in accordance with the tax
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in accounting, finance or business administration
- At least 2 years experience in a similar position or equivalent experience in Big 4
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
- Ability to fit in dynamic work environment
- High sense of responsibility
- Excellent MS Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver results within deadlines
- Excellent Latvian and English skills required, as work involves communication with colleagues from different countries
