Requirements:
- MSc in the field of mechanical or plant engineering with focus on apparatus engineering, applied thermodynamics and Turbomachinery;
- Several years of professional experience in industrial plant engineering is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Latvian. (English is necessary for communication with an international team of engineers and foreign partner companies).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Competent, friendly, serious and confident appearance.
- Willingness to help shape the climate-neutral future.
Main responsibilities:
- Applied thermodynamics for the conception of innovative, efficient Plants for capturing CO2 Design of apparatus for the capture of CO2 (Distillation Columns, PED Equipment)
- Design of machines for the transport of CO2 (Pumps & Compressors)
- Techno-economic evaluation of various plant concepts
- Integration of the plants into the environment of the Broceni cement plant.
