ABOUT US
Latvian subsidiary of SINTEC UK is looking for a Junior IT Administrator based in Riga office. Sintec UK is a London-based mechanical and electrical contractor that provides a wide range of professional installation services, specialising in automation technologies for material handling and storage systems. We have carried out projects worldwide, notably in UK, Europe, USA, Brazil, Australia and other regions. We are global service provider, installing conveyors systems and other equipment for companies such as Amazon, Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys, Ocado, BMW, Nestle and many others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Microsoft Infrastructure Support
- Provide day-to-day support and basic administration of Microsoft 365 environment (Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).
- Support end users within the Microsoft ecosystem: user accounts, licences, access permissions, and MFA.
- Support Microsoft Intune:
---enrolment and management of corporate devices (Windows and mobile devices);
-application of basic security and configuration policies.
-assisting users with device setup and compliance issues.
- Support Microsoft Exchange:
-manage mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and distribution groups.
-perform basic troubleshooting of email and mail flow issues.
- Provide basic support for Microsoft Azure / Azure AD:
-user and group management.
-understanding roles, RBAC (role-based access control), and access principles.
IT Support
- Provide 1st / 2nd line IT support to company staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows, Microsoft 365, and corporate devices.
- Install, update, and maintain software and hardware.
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets in line with SLA.
- Support and monitor backup processes according to established procedures.
- Deliver basic user training on corporate Microsoft tools and services.
SharePoint
- Support and administer SharePoint Online sites.
- Manage permissions and access levels.
- Provide basic user guidance on working with SharePoint.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related (or last year studies).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure:
-Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online);
-Azure AD / Entra ID;
-Microsoft Intune.
- Understanding of:
-user and access management principles.
-network fundamentals and protocols.
-basic IT security concepts (MFA, conditional access at a conceptual level).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
