Operations coordinator/ Logistics Specialist

We are an international logistics company with a headquarter based in Riga, Latvia. The company specializes in the organization of complex multimodal transportations of general and out of gauge cargoes, as well as an establishment of supply chain for customers from all over the world.

Operations coordinator / Logistics Specialist.
As an operations coordinator you will be deeply involved into all the processes of the transportations. You will be in charge not only for the transportation itself, but also for the coordination and cooperation of other departments and offices of the company within the framework of your tasks.

• Organization and coordination of international cargo transportations.
• Work with transport accompanyning documents.
• Preparation of reports and work with internal documentation.
• Maintaining and improving relations with partners.
• Coordination of out of gauge, general and project cargo transportations.

• Due to the international team and the need to communicate with partners from different
countries - a good knowledge of the English language is mandatory.
• Due to the responsibility associated with the position and the specifics of the work, an
understanding of the basics of international transportation and logistics is necessary.
• We are looking for a qualified specialists, so minimum 2 years of previous experience in
logistics field is needed. 

• Stress-resistant and able to think clearly in difficult situations.
• Well organized and with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Communicable and socially responsible.
• Able to make informed decisions in complicated situations.

• Knowledge of other languages besides Latvian, Russian and English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs.
• Previous experience in the field of transport and logistics.
