Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management (with a concentration in Finance), or Economics from an Accredited University or College.
- Last year student or graduate. 1 - 2 years job experience in related area, additional education or training courses will be considered as an advantage.
- Interest and understanding of economic development trends and sectors.
- Interest and ability to analyse companies' annual reports and large amounts of financial information
- Good presentation, verbal and written communication as well as problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with focus on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple projects and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
- Fluent English and Latvian languages. Knowledge of Russian will be considered as an advantage.
Responsibilities
- To gather and synthesize industry information from research sources including data bases, the Internet, trade publications, industry reports and periodicals
- To perform financial analyses on client companies, including comparable deals and public company analysis
- To prepare business plans and presentations
- To use research and financial analysis to draft executive summaries, information memorandums, descriptive teasers and other investment materials
- Research and develop potential buyer, investor, and target lists
- To participate in detailed research and due diligence of specific companies
- To monitor markets and conduct sector specific research
- To cooperate with project managers and to assist them in various projects.
