BUYER / PURCHASING SPECIALIST

We are constantly growing and right now looking for driven, multitasking and attentive Buyer who will be responsible for purchasing necessary stuff for a Video Studio. This role implies daily communication with our employees (including but not limited to Video Designers, Actors/Actresses, Supervisors), considering their needs, supporting them on their daily tasks and video-filming activities.

What you will do:

• Purchase (lease) props for all projects of the Studio in Riga according to the requests and deadlines
• Deal with paperwork from the suppliers (receipts, invoices, etc.)
• Deliver props to the set no later than date/time specified in request
• Make sure that purchased props match the initial request and fit the required description
• Check props' overall condition and make sure they don't have any defects prior to purchasing and delivering them to the Studio warehouse
• Perform daily planning of the optimal, cost-minimizing route for the purpose of purchasing props;
• Produce timely reporting to the accounting Department on the issued funds for the purchase (lease) of the necessary requisites, provide all financial documents (receipts, invoices, acts and other documents of a reporting nature)
• At the end of each working day report to the Manager on the results of tasks for the current working day.
  

Our perfect candidate:

• Have a general understanding and interest for video-production
• Perfectly navigates in Riga and knows where to buy certain things
• Have a driving licence, car and ready to use it for work purposes
• Have relevant work experience as Buyer (is considered as advantage)
• Can perfectly organize workflows and structure information
• Can easily find required information on the internet
• Have excellent communication skills and problem-solving approach
• Fluent in Latvian, English and Russian (required)
