TECHNICAL DESIGNER
for our wellestablished production plant in Jelgava.

You will be a part of an innovative team who sell, design, and produces prefabricated installation shafts for the construction industry in Europe.

Prefabricated installation shafts are NCC's future-proof solution, where we prefabricate steel frames with all types of installations such as ventilation, plumbing and electricity ready-made for plug and play installation on the construction sites.

You as Technical Designer will work closely with our design team in Denmark & Latvia, and at the same time be very close to and support our production.

Key responsibilities: (With direct reference to the Head of Design, NCC Shaft SIA – Latvia, and daily cooperation with the design team, NCC Teknik Skakt – Denmark.

• Support the design team in generating and internal publishing of 2D and 3D production drawings and bill of material (BOM);
• Maintain and revision of production drawings and BOM;
• Produce new and maintain 3D system assemblies;
• Support function between the design and the plant’s production team;
• Support process improvements and high-quality products through continuous improvements

You must possess the following qualifications:

• Focused on details and quality in documents;
• Able to work structured;
• Manage and split tasks given according to deadlines;
• Be a team player and willing to perform various tasks and give a hand where it is needed;
• Be good in English (both verbally and in writing);
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, capable in other MS Office applications;
• Experienced user of Solid Edge, Solid Works, Revit, AutoCAD, Solibri or like;
• Be open minded and solution oriented to seek for optimization of workflow.
• Experience in the building business.
