Overview

We are an Open Banking payments platform, licensed in the UK as a Payment Institution and seeking a license in the EU currently. In the next year we are planning to obtain licenses in North America and Asia as well. We are looking for a Senior AML / Compliance Officer who will be able to establish and execute our internal practices and lead the relevant team in further.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Law, Economics or Finance.
• Solid background and extensive experience (5+ years) in payments legal or compliance function with focus on Compliance methodology and risk assessments.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently, follow deadlines and effectively manage time.
• Full working proficiency of English (written and verbal).
• Excellent level of English & Russian languages is mandatory.

Tasks:

• Building, developing and maintaining Compliance function methodologies, tools and solutions.
• Building and developing risk assessment and quality assurance practices within Compliance.
• Collaborating with the regulators (FCA, European Central Banks).
• Collaborating with the partner financial institutions on AML/Compliance matter.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring and maintenance of (ecomm) merchant files.
• Revisit and process information related to merchant changes (products, services, business models etc.).
• Cooperation with the Merchant Onboarding team to obtain necessary merchant related information.
