Responsibilities
- Ensuring stable and reliable ETL process from PostgreSQL ERP DB to MS SQL DWH;
- Maintenance and development of internal DWH;
- Creating scheduled data exports using SQL or external tools, including gathering of requirements;
- Adding new data (tables/views/stored procedures) to SQL, and informing all key departments about the changes: BI, Analytics, Data Science, Products & Risks;
- Maintaining/ Improving daily updates - python/pentaho/sql. And ensuring that reload times are optimal, provide all necessary data to other units, and there are no errors;
- Developing of new tools ( e.g. Windows Services, Jasper, etc.);
- Administering Azure SQL;
- Esnuring that DWH architecture is standartized, optimal and scalable at all times (depending on our business strategy and needs);
- Work with IT team (DBA and PMs) to assist them in launching new ERP functionalities in an optimal way from DB and DWH perspective;
- Taking responsibility for ensuring data quality if the tasks performed;
- Provide trainings for local country analysts when necessary;
- International experience a plus.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) - Queries, Stored Procedures, Indexing etc.;
- Familiarity with at least one other programming language (Python, C# etc.);
- Understanding of ETL process, great if experience with some ETL tool (e.g. Pentaho);
- Interest in continuing to work in this area and develop personally;
- Experience and interest in working in a dynamic work environment;
- Flexibility.
