Job description
Luminor Asset Management and Pensions is a business unit which is part of Luminor Group and Retail business area. In Luminor Asset Management we focus to create growth of Luminor customers’ wealth to improve their quality of life in long-term horizon. Luminor has over 360 thousand pension customers and we are managing pension assets and discretionary investment portfolios in total amount over 1.7 billion euros. Fund Manager contributes to the investment management and research processes of the Baltic Investment Management Team. Takes full ownership of his/her focus area within the Baltic investment framework governing pension funds and other discretionary and advisory mandates.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contribute to the investment management and research processes of the Baltic Investment Management Team, including participating in the investment committees
- Develop and implement investment strategies, strategic and tactical asset allocations
- Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative research of the major asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternative investments and other), sub-asset classes and of the target investments
- Select and monitor portfolio investments
- Execute investment decisions for the managed Pension funds
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements, investment and diversification limits of the managed Pension funds
- Make regular and ad-hoc reports and execute internal and external communication to internal and external stakeholders on the managed Pension funds
- Manage relationships with fund management companies, issuers and other internal and external counterparties, including regulatory bodies when relevant
Requirements for candidates
- 5+ year experience in areas related to fund management or investment analysis or financial markets
- Excellent understanding of financial markets, major asset classes, economic concepts and relationships among various markets
- Professional knowledge of financial instruments
- Proficiency working with Bloomberg
- Excellent understanding of financial research methods and techniques and their applications
- Strong communication and cooperation skills, ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner
- Pension product knowledge
- Full proficiency in English and Latvian
- Preferred CFA, PRM, FRM or other licenses/certificates in investment, risk or financial markets area
