Accountant

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Accountant;
• Understanding of accounting procedures and principles, including knowledge of Latvian tax system;
• Knowledge of full-cycle accounting process;
• Understanding and experience in preparation of annual reports;
• Proficient computer skills (especially Excel), 1C would be considered as advantage;
• Good English skills, Russian will be considered as advantage;
• Experience working in international environment;
• Accuracy, punctuality and detail orientation;
• Fast learning skills. 

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in accounting software for multiple group companies;
• Perform reconciliations and account clearings;
• Track and monitor accounts receivables / payables;
• Assist Chief Accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and audit;
• Preparation of tax and statistic reports;
• Monthly payroll calculations;
• Fixed asset accounting;
• Preparation of daily bank transfers;
• Participation of cash flow planning;
• Generating and implementing processes to improve and automate daily work.
