Description

Mogo Uganda is part of Eleving Group - an international FinTech Company with a vast reach across the globe operating in three continents and with a strong online presence.

We are looking for a Business operations manager to support our operations in Uganda and help achieve profitable growth in this fast developing market.

Requirements

Help manage the growth of our vehicle financing business in an exciting developing market
Redesign and improve processes across the customer journey
Identify new business development opportunities applying market research and creativity
Network with local and expat business leaders to gain market insights
Detect issues, develop roadmap and action plan to drive business growth and profitability;
Lead the opening of new branches and business units
Help define new products, working with IT and business to ensure a smooth launch of the products;
Act as a liaison between the local team and HQ in Europe
Ad-hoc short-term projects to solve specific business problems.
Establish and improve existing management controlling and reporting practices
Identify, map and analyze business processes as well as corresponding KPIs
Support the local team to achieve 4 primary goals: Grow the business; Increase efficiency; Control costs; Identify, map, and mitigate internal and external risks.

Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Economics or Business administration would be an advantage;
2-4 years previous experience in consulting, finance, project management, business administration, or similar position;
Hands-on approach and "getting things done" mindset
Excellent analytical skills;
High sense of responsibility, preciseness, ability to plan and set priorities;
Fluent in English
Excellent computer skills.
