To further achieve our intended growth objective for our Transport organisation in Riga, we are looking for a

Senior Recruiter / Supervisor Business Operations Riga Office

In this pivotal role, you are primarily responsible for implementation and supervision of policy and procedures as instructed by our Headquarter in relation to the Business Operations Department Riga Office (departments: HR Drivers, Damage, Fleet Management, Fuel, Road Toll and Tacho).

• Instructing the colleagues within the department Business Operations Riga Office;
• Supervising and helping to implement what has been drawn up in the policy plan;
• Monitoring and advising on possible improvements of business processes based on objectives and strategy;
• Monitoring employment conditions, internal regulations and other agreements made or to be made for drivers;
• Recruitment and selection of drivers;
• Managing the annual recurring procedures such as performance reviews, appraisal interviews, training plans, etc. (HRM cycle Drivers);
• Advising and handling dismissal Drivers;
• Taking care of various reports, monitoring key performance indicators and implementing points of action as instructed by the Manager Business Operations and/or the Manager Riga Office.

You will be, together with the General Manager and the Supervisor Operations, member of the Management Team Riga Office. Of course there is also a functional relation to HQ Oldenzaal.

For this position, we are looking for a talented Manager at a Bachelor level (EQF 6, 7) who can “think and act”.
Several years of relevant work experience and/or affinity with the transport industry and / or HR is an absolute must. Furthermore, you need to demonstrate certain personal characteristics such as accuracy, good numerical insight and excellent social and communication skills.
Given the nature of the job, we require a flexible attitude; the job is not suited for someone with an 8 to 5 mentality. Due to the international character of Heisterkamp and this position, a good command of English and Latvian, both spoken and in writing, is an absolute requirement.
