Junior Information Systems Consultant (ERP)

Position Description
We are looking for a new team member to join us as a junior information systems consultant. As part of our team of professionals you will be working on projects aimed at implementing, modifying and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions (product - IFS Applications) for our local and international clients. This is a great opportunity to kick-start your career in IT consulting.

Your future duties and responsibilities
In the short term:
• Configuring the system responding to the needs of the client (system translation)
• Preparing user facing technical documentation (user guide translations)

In the long term:
• Growing into an experienced information system consultant
• Communicating with clients, analyzing their requests and issues
• Outlining problems, opportunities, solutions for the business
• Consulting clients
• Analyzing client requirements and designing system enhancements
• Writing project documentation
• Describing and specifying tasks for developers
• Testing the developed solutions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering on a high level of accuracy
• Analytical and critical thinking
• Problem-solving skills
• Communicability, politeness, organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to learn new technologies, processes and procedures quickly and efficiently
• Fluent in Latvian, good oral and written English skills

Desired Qualifications:
• Student or bachelor degree in IT, IT management, technical writing or similar
