Due to the growth of our partners' company we are looking for an IT Security Engineer who is ready to “think like a hacker” in order to prevent security breaches and stay ahead of all possible threats; someone who have a keen eye to the smallest details, so no weak spots are left behind. The role entails active involvement in maintaining Company’s IT security by discovering weak spots, proposing solutions and implementing remediation.
Professional skills and experience:
- Background of security-minded sys-admin;
- Familiarity with firewalls;
- Experience with Vulnerability Management tools;
- Knowledge of Email security;
- Understanding of Secure SDLC;
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) ;
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) ;
- Good understanding & knowledge of encryption technologies & protocols;
- Interest in all aspects of security research and development ;
- Good analytical and communication skills;
- Good level in English reading/speaking/writing, and good understanding of Latvian and Russian.
As an advantage:
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS);
- Experience with SSDLC;
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies (OpenID, OAuth, SSO, SAML);
- Experience implementing security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Scanning and patching vulnerabilities;
- Actively contribute to implementing new solutions/services by conducting security reviews;
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise (Security incident monitoring & response);
- Development of security-related policies & procedures;
- Conducting internal and participating in external security audits;
- Consulting on security-related topics.
