Head of Legal Department / Chief Legal Officer

We are looking for the Head of Legal Department to join the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and managing an internal team of Legal Specialists;
• Maintaining and developing a legal infrastructure, managing document workflow
inclusively;
• Developing and leading legal strategy in order to promote and protect Company’s matters;
• Drafting, vetting and negotiating agreements;
• Managing legal projects within internal and external resources, and daily operations;
• Providing legal protection to the management and other departments;
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks;
• Advising on legal implications of Company’s policies and procedures;
• Ensuring legal risk management and compliance within laws, standards, policies and
regulations;
• Conducting diligent legal research and providing sufficient recommendations;
• Collaborating with the AML/ Compliance departments;
• Maintaining regular corporate interactions with relevant supervisory bodies, legislatures
and the Company;
• Obtaining new licenses, assisting in product and service certifications;
• Participating in company general management matters and keeping up with policies;
• Reporting on legal activities, risks and litigation;
• Ensuring legal department resource efficiency to accomplish Company’s goals, strategies
and priorities;
• Conducting regular legal trainings and providing a support for staff;
• Providing up-to-date agreement templates for Commercial departments.

Requirements:

• Outstanding knowledge of Legal/Business English (verbal and written);
• Wide experience working in an international environment, recognising regulatory topics;
• Must be an outstanding team player, inherently proactive, driven, collaborative, dedicated,
and possess the ability to develop first class relationships, both internally and externally;
• Must hold a Law Degree with strong academic credentials;
• Proven experience in agreements drafting (complex and high-value - services, technology
etc.);
• Profound understanding of the International law;
• Work experience of at least 3 years as a Chief Legal Officer, or 5 years of experience on
the role of Senior Legal Specialist with own legal team under the direct management;
• Successful previous experience in developing and managing the team of legal specialists;
• Strong negotiation skills; experience in the International litigation would be an advantage;
• Experience in an online, B2B, E-Commerce, I-gaming and Banking industries, knowledge
of the IT products would be an advantage.
