Join our team! We are looking for a Operational Risk Analyst in Riga HQ office!

About the role
The Operational Risk Analyst is responsible for facilitating good practices of operational risk management in Group entities by maintaining and developing necessary tools (incident management, risk management, business continuity, vendor risk management), assisting colleagues in their risk management efforts, promoting risk awareness culture and reporting operational risk management matters to management.

Required experience

Technical skills

  • Practical experience in operational risk management (e.g. incident management, risk assessments, business continuity) 
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Ability to take ownership of a problem and solve it (analyse it, find feasible solution, propose it and develop it; ask for additional resources if necessary)
  • Good knowledge of advanced MS tools like SharePoint, Planner, PowerAutomate will be advantageous

  • Good verbal and written English communication

Nice to have

  • Experience of work in financial services industry


  • Analysis of operational risk incidents, facilitating their resolution and monitoring appropriate corrective/preventive action implementation
  • Maintaining and developing Group operational risk incident database
  • Risk and control identification and assessment through business-as-usual activities or targeted risk assessments 
  • Maintaining and developing Group’s risk register
  • Preparing regular and ad hoc reports on incident database and risk register
  • Managing Group’s business continuity management programme
  • Performing operational stability assessments of new and existing partners within vendor risk management process
  • Maintaining and developing vendor risk assessment processes of the Group
  • Performing internal fraud checks. Maintaining and developing an internal fraud detection and prevention programme of the Group
  • Carry out operational risk awareness activities via e-learnings, meetings and other internal communication tools 
  • Maintaining documentation of department’s policies and procedures
  • Supporting and advising other Group employees on incident management, risk management and other operational risk-related matters
