Airline Support Baltic is looking for a Human resources manager to join our team.
Overview
Position Location – Riga, Latvia.
Employment Status – Full-time

Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
- Recruiting staff by preparing job descriptions and job adverts.
- Shortlisting applicants for interview using a variety of selection techniques. Interviewing shortlisted candidates.
- Onboarding newcomers to the company.
- Guide and advise management on HR matters.
- Working on improving staff retention.
- Build on the current apprenticeship scheme - build relationships with local universities.
- Reporting on HR stats - absence, sickness, holidays. Making recommendations to improve the situation.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Advise and aide in the creation of an environment that attracts, retains and motivates top talent.
- Participate and provide input into various HR initiatives, programs and policies to ensure successful alignment with business strategy.
Skills Required
As the HR Manager, you must possess the following abilities:
- Excellent Latvian, Russian and English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Previous HR experience of working in a fast paced environment preferable.
- BSc/BA in business administration, psychology, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach. Proactive and flexible with a “can do” attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships and work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrable ability to motivate and positively influence others.
