JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

The Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, sales invoices & stock data accurancy and daily bank statement transactions for our overseas Group Companies based in Africa. You will be also involved in direct communication with overseas sales representatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Process purchase ledger invoices (maintain and update AP records)
• Process receivable invoices (maintain and update AR records)
• Perform daily bank statement reconciliation, bookings, and supplier payment runs
• Maintain stock and reconciliations
• Maintain all accounting supporting document registers
• Perform other daily accounting tasks (assist senior accountant)

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting field
• Degree in accounting, finance, or economics
• Strong written & verbal Latvian and English communication skills
• Experience with accounting software (preferably Horizon)
