A second-generation family business, Ferroplan Oy is the leading Finnish manufacturer of conveyor solutions designed for handling piece items and bulk cargo. In addition to its headquarters, in Finland, the company has a component manufacturing unit in Jelgava, Latvia.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a new member of the team who will lead the accountancy function (new role) in Latvia acting and representing the company as:
Chief Accountant | Jelgava
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out full range of daily accounting and reporting, payment management and cash flow monitoring for the company;
- Perform salary and tax calculations and payments;
- Prepare all accounting reports (Monthly/Yearly) for Head quarter CFO and governmental institutions;
- Communicate with external auditors and tax authorities;
- Provide consultations to the Company Management on business cases
Your experience:
- Higher education qualifications in Economics, Finance or Accounting;
- 3+ years of successful experience in similar position;
- Responsibility and accuracy in working with documents;
- Good English, Latvian and Russian languages skills (written and oral);
- Very good knowledge of Latvian accounting standards and tax legislation
- Strong MS Excel skills and experience with accounting software (preferably ERP system)
