SENIOR DATABASE DEVELOPER (MS SQL)

We are looking for a full-time Senior Database Developer (MS SQL)!

Join us to contribute to our Data Warehouse solution based on Microsoft Technologies for one of the largest e-commerce destinations in the US. You'll be working in a multi-location Agile team. The position is in Riga, Latvia.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and queries in support of application development
Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design
Review and optimize existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and queries
Convert existing embedded SQL code into stored procedures
Develop custom scripts to automate various database management processes
Develop PowerBI reports
Define and review best practice standards for data integrity
Develop various ETL jobs for our Data Warehouse

Skills & Requirements:

At least 3 years of professional work experience
Strong problem solving skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong written and verbal English communications skills
A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is considered a plus

Qualification:

Strong experience in T-SQL, procedures, functions, triggers, views and queries
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 and newer
Knowledge of PowerBI is considered a plus
Experience with SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, & SSDT
Working knowledge of MySQL databases
Knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse concepts
