Financial Analyst

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Regularly evaluate and interpret Swedbank Latvia financial and business results, incl. identifying trends, comparing actuals with plans and forecasts, highlighting areas of concern
• Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking
• Prepare high-quality presentations, overviews and other materials for the Board, Council and their meetings with customers, employees, media etc.
• Participate in strategy and activity planning processes
• Control the direct costs, including monthly analysis and quarterly forecast updates with budget owners
• Cooperate with Baltic Banking Finance team and other cross-country stakeholders in different projects and tasks

What is needed in this role:

• At least 2 years relevant experience in field of financial analysis, data storytelling and creating effective visual presentations
• Good understanding of finance sector business, bank management accounting and reporting
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in multi-tasking environment, pro-active attitude, orientation towards process improvements and attention to details
• Strong communication and teaming skills both within your core team and with stakeholders
• Excellent command of verbal and written English and Latvian, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Readiness to learn new financial analysis/modelling software
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or Mathematics
