Depositary Services Country Manager/Compliance Analyst

• Join the cross-border team of Depositary Services with staff and clients in Sweden and in the Baltics where we work and cooperate together supporting over 200+ funds;
• Be a part of ensuring the soundness and compliance of the Latvian pension fund industry, work closely with clients and the regulator;
• Be involved in the latest trends and developments of the area and be able to contribute to the strategic agenda of the industry;
• Take a part in the daily oversight process the largest pension funds in Latvia, additionally have the opportunity to work also with alternative investment strategies;
• Learn the inside and out of investment funds and their daily operations, get to know different financial securities, investment strategies and how they work;
• Work alongside with other professionals in Securities Services working on different layers of the fund services and custody area to make sure our clients’ financial instruments are properly safekept and administered.

What is needed in this role:

• University degree in economics, legal or finance;
• Good understanding of financial markets, financial securities and valuation related topics;
• Previous experience in areas involving investment funds, either operations, administration, oversight, compliance is considered as an advantage;
• Good analytical and calculation skills;
• Excellent Excel skills;
• Good communication skills, fluent command of English;
• Strong achievement orientation, exceptional self-drive and strive for excellence.
