IT Camp partner – is a World-wide known company, which is providing audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, tax and related services to the clients all over the World.
The company has it`s own Data & Artificial Intelligence Consulting department, which is rapidly growing.
At this moment there are 18 people in the Data&AI department, of which 10 are in Cloud Data Engineering team.
Office: Gredu street, Riga, Latvia
Remote work option is acceptable – you can choose the most comfortable way for you.
Data & AI department main tasks:
- work directly with clients from different countries
- design and develop Data&AI solutions that meet clients needs
- guide clients on best practices
- constantly learn
- educate client`s personnel through joint work
Used technology stack:
Clouds: GCP, Azure, Snowflake, AWS
Programming languages: Python, Scala, SQL, Java
Due to the growth of department we are looking for Cloud Data Engineers to join the team of high professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Development and construction of innovative data analytics platforms for customers with the most modern technologies
- Together with other analytics experts, you support customers from data strategy concepts design to the development of modern data & analytics architectures and the implementation of specific use cases
- Development of high-availability data platforms on multi or hybrid cloud infrastructures with complex and distributed data pipelines
- Optimization of analytics solutions in the cloud concerning costs, runtime and stability
Support of customers on important strategic or operational tasks in order to advance their digitization - Coach younger teammates and train them professionally, technically and personally
Requirements:
- Experience with the analytics services and containers of one or more public cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, MS Azure, AWS)
- Experience with SQL databases and/or big data tools such as Hadoop, Kafka, Apache Spark, NoSQL databases.
- Forward-looking way of working, ability to work in a team and a high level of commitment
- Independent and structured way of working
- Experience with agile software development and project procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Economics or other comparable education
Nice to have (will be considered as an advantage):
- Relevant training courses & certificates
- Programming experience (e.g. C/C++, Java, Python or Scala)
- Experience with Linux and bash scripting
