In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
  • Work in a multi-cultural, multi-tasking and challenging environment across Swedbank Group and different teams.
  • Participate and/or lead the work of gathering requirements from the business, and interpreting and evaluating requirements.
  • Support colleagues in explaining customer needs and business requirements, by applying business and product knowledge.
  • Express Product Backlog in terms of Jira User stories with acceptance criteria and other required details.
  • Provide help and support to software engineers to ensure a common understanding of requirements.
  • Design a full testing cycle starting from the organization of testing activities till testing results gathering and verifying.
  • Participate in production support activities: investigate issues, provide consultations to the business users, assist in end-user training, take part in testing of new functionality.
  • Continuously update existing documentation for the services.
  • Have, and continue to gain, good knowledge of the business in the value stream.

As Business Analyst you will be working as the main contact person between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and users, with knowledge of the business domain, IT, and relevant information to other Agile teams.

What is needed in this role:
  • University degree or acquiring (preferably in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or IT).
  • Previous work experience in analytics or project management.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking with a creative problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills, ability to visualize and document requirements.
  • Financial business knowledge, combined with a technical understanding.
  • Interest in the customer journey and interaction processes.
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in an area where we explore and learn together.
  • A desire to learn, share with others and apply findings to building new and improvement of existing solutions.
  • Good knowledge of both written and spoken English is required since this is the daily working language.
  • Experience in Agile work is an advantage.
