Latvia MGI Tech, a part of BGI Group - one of the world’s leading genomics organizations, is looking for a full-time LOGISTICS SPECIALIST.

Job Description:
1. Set up the Latvia account customs system and procedure, improve the Latvia account customs business process, and ensure the Latvia account customs business efficiency and compliance.
2. Advance risk control of export declaration and customs clearance in overseas countries, follow up and deal with exceptions in the event, summarize and analyze afterward, and deal with customs retroactive treatment.
3. According to the customs clearance policies and declaration principles of overseas countries, optimize the customs clearance operation mode and cost of overseas countries.
4. Sorted out and formulated relevant procedures for customs affairs, and controlled risk points according to existing business links; Export the customs clearance manual of overseas countries to provide reference basis for overseas customs clearance of all departments, provide internal and cross-departmental customs clearance related training, and improve the business capacity.
5. Responsible for obtaining preferential policies for customs affairs, coordinating business, maintaining public relations, coordinating, and participating in the handling of major customs clearance exceptions, and customs inspection.
6. Monitor and Control transportation forwarders daily, deal with customer complaints and return goods, order control, payment, and POD into the system

Job Requirements:
1. English can be used as the working language
2. Have a sound knowledge framework of logistics systems (such as Sino-port transport, freight forwarding, warehousing, taxation, etc.)
3. Have work experience in the field of large-scale international logistics customs, be familiar with relevant customs laws and regulations, and be good at the research and interpretation of customs policies.
4. Experiences in forwarder behavior, and transportation budget control.
5. Have strong insight, communication skills, analytical skills, writing skills, risk awareness, and work under pressure.
