Currently, we are looking for a AML/KYC Specialist with a strong AML/KYC background. 

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing high-risk alerts, as well as EDD, PEP and sanctions alerts;
• Resolving day-to-day AML/ KYC queries;
• Requesting and analyzing KYC documents in line with applicable policies and regulatory requirements;
• Assisting with external regulatory research and analysis;
• Assisting with AML transaction monitoring and customer risk scoring using automated tools;
• Reviewing, updating and maintaining existing policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement;
• Maintaining awareness of KYC/AML landscape and use this awareness to flag issues of importance to the operation;
• Working on AML, sanctions, compliance and other projects in the field;

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (bachelor degree in law and/or finance would be considered as advantage);
• Excellent understanding of KYC/AML/Sanctions/Financial Crime fundamentals with at least 2+ years’ experience, preferably, in an international setting;
• Experience in analyzing and assessing KYC documents, customers’ risk and legal requirements to comply with AML laws and regulations;
• Knowledge of legal corporate entities and ownership structures would be considered as advantage;
• Experience in detecting and preventing of fraud and ML/TF, preferably, in the financial services setting would eb considered as advantage;
• Willingness to learn and be part of a solution-oriented business team;
• Critical thinking with analytical, researching and fact-gathering skills;
• Attentiveness, accuracy, multitasking and stress resistance;
• Ability to meet external deadlines on a day-to-day basis;
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation with the ability to work independently;
• Knowledge of MS Office;
• Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English, Latvian and Russian languages;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
