UX/UI senior designer

PearlConvert UX team is hiring a Senior User Interface Designer. We are looking for candidates who live in a location near Riga or can visit the downtown office 2-3 days per week. We'll be accepting applications for this position until July 18, 2022.

At PearlConvert, product design is a function of research, interface design, and front-end development roles. Along with having great visual taste and sensibilities, you must be able to understand your pairs from research and front-end to bring the features to life.

We believe the best designs come from someone who can see it all through, from ideas to visuals to the finished product. We work from the research first — starting with user research and continuing with design rather than ending with it — so you'll be involved in the work right from the beginning. Our projects are design-led, so you'll have a lot of flexibility, freedom, influence, and impact right away. We loosely follow the Google design sprint methodology adapted to our client’s needs.

You'll get to work on widely used products that contribute to the success of end-users and our business clients. As a senior professional, you will manage projects of various sizes throughout the development cycle. You'll set the tone, take charge, make decisions, and see things through without much supervision. You'll be able to communicate clearly with your coworkers, collaborate across teams, and offer assistance when needed.

We've worked on some things recently to give you a sense of what you'll be doing day-to-day.

• Participate in workshops with the customer
• Create new atomic design systems, and maintain existing ones using Figma
• Design commerce solutions that boosts sales for various customers, domains, and industries (B2C, B2B, D2C)
• Apply in practice user-centred design (UCD) principles, support user research, follow usability standards (ISO) and human interface standards
• Ensure user inclusive experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Ability to iteratively deliver design solutions, act confidently in negotiations with business stakeholders.
