This role will work in the Asset Management division on our platform transformation initiative, delivering a key part of Linedata's future strategy. This program will deliver new modular products utilizing distributed message-based communication, micro services, domain driven design, polyglot persistence, and event sourcing via the CQRS-ES pattern. The new products will be cloud native and built using the Agile SCRUM with CI/CD processes. The existing product suite remains a core part of our offering and the new modules will need to integrate and operate alongside these products that we have written in other established technologies (eg SQL, oracle, C#, React/ Javascript UI)
The successful candidate will role model best-in-class software development.

• Develop new features as market needs arise.
• Ensure code quality (unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests).
• Follow the development standard and best practices defined by the tech lead.
• Implement fixes for issues arising in existing applications.
• Review code implemented by other developers and provide feedback when necessary.
• Build and continuously improve development/QA/Demo/Showcase environments.
• Create and maintain product documentation.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
• Software engineering disciplines like UML, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Big-O analysis preferred.
• Hands on experience in C#, .Net, and tools like Git, Jira.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL (SQL Server, Oracle), Event Store.
• Ability to clearly communicate your ideas in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding software development life-cycle.
• Working well in a scaled agile development methodology.
• Ability to work individually and with other engineers in a collaborative manner.

• Microservices architecture
• Multi-threaded, distributed, N-Tier applications
• Domain Driven Design concepts
• Planning, developing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure, working with Terraform and Helm charts
• CI/CD tools like Harness and Artifactory
• Designing event sourced and messaging based systems (preferably CQRS)
• Designing and delivering Cloud ready solutions, primarily AWS
• Containers, notably Kubernetes
• Performance, scalability, and recovery testing
• Knowledge of stock markets, asset types, and other financial concepts.
