myEmerg is looking for Senior Android Developer to join our team in Riga. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Android Developer to develop a global application for consumers “myEmerg” that is innovative Telemedicine app.

myEmerg is operating currently in 2 countries - United States and Latvia.

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in Android development
• Strong knowledge of Android Framework and Ecosystem: core Android API, UI, animations, third-party libraries, build tools
• Deep understanding of modern OOP practices and design patterns
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments (for example – experience with Kotlin)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly motivated team-player
• Fully comfortable working in English, both in writing and spoken

Responsibility
• Develop, maintain and enhance Android application
• Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functioning features
• Develop new and existing Android applications features
• Provide estimates on development cycles
• Implement conversion experiments (A/B tests)
• Partner with designers to help define and implement User Interface improvements
