Norwegian is continuing to grow and has opened a brand new Riga Support Office. Right now we are looking for two new colleagues to join our Shared Services Accounting team in Riga. Could you be our new Senior Accountant? The main responsibility in this position will be to ensure timely, accurate and high quality of general accounting tasks. You will report to Team Leader Accounting.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Daily transactional and bookkeeping activities.
- Monitoring processes and ensure timely action.
- Statutory reporting support.
- Month-end closing activities.

We are looking for a colleague who:
- Has strong digital skills, combined with good knowledge in general accounting principles.
- Is business and solution oriented with a supportive mindset and strong sense of ethics.
- Is accurate, efficient, and meets deadlines.
- Has a process oriented analytical mindset.
- Has good teamwork capabilities.
- Has an academic degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Has good written and verbal communication skills.
- Is fluent in English, written and verbal.

You are our ideal candidate if you have also:
- Similar work experience (3+ years), preferably in an international company.
- Experience working with SAP.

We are offering the opportunity to work from office and from home (few days per week).

We are looking for two new Senior Accountants to join the team. One of them will be offered a temporary contract on maternity cover period with possibility to extend.
