SAFE Shipping specializes in providing global ocean freight services. We have been operating on the Lithuanian/Latvian/Estonian market of maritime transport services since 2008. We are part of an international group of logistics companies USS United Shipping Services AB.

As the size and scope of our business increases, we are expanding our Team. Currently we have several positions open in the import and export departments, as well as sales across the Baltic States. We are looking for an ambitious and business-oriented person to join our team as:

The role
As the Sales Specialist you will be responsible for researching, prospecting and closing deals with existing and new customers. Your objective will be to achieve sales quotas and retention goals set in collaboration with the Managing Director. You will work closely with the operations department to create solutions that meet customers’ need and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. 

• Duties and responsibilities prospecting new import and export clients for the carriers we represent
• preparing quotations and follow up
• maintaining relationships with existing customers
• reporting sales activities
• working closely with operations to ensure high quality customer service
• Identify new target customers within defined parameters

We are looking for:

• 2 years+ in a sales within the logistics industry
• proven track record of working with exporters and importers in the Baltic States
• good verbal and written English communication skills
• self-motivated, disciplined, and precise 
• customer-oriented approach, ready to build lasting relationships with customers
• good communicator, able to work in a team, and under the pressure of time
• valid driver’s licence
