MAIN TASK WILL BE:
- Planning and creating automated tests to ensure Data Center networking equipment functionality, reliability and performance
- Set up and maintain Continuous Integration tools used to build, test and deploy automated tests
- Create comprehensive test cases for new and existing systems and configurations that match the desired acceptance criteria
- Analyze project documentation, release notes and other project artifacts to identify new or update existing test scenarios
- Report bugs / errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Strong automation skills
- Good knowledge of networking: Ethernet, VLAN, IP, TCP, UDP, routing basics
- Experience with monitoring protocols and tools like SNMP and sFlow is nice to have
- Understanding of functional and acceptance testing
- Experience with servers will help get to speed faster
- Shell scripting
- Python knowledge is nice to have
- Good knowledge of English
