We are looking in our team:
JUNIOR FINANCE SPECIALIST

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in monthly and year end closing and preparation of financial statements in accordance with Latvian legislation and International Accounting Standards;
• Assist in preparation of the financial reports for auditors, for company management and State Statistic Center;
• Assistance in preparation of budget and business plan;
• Organize the circulation of outgoing and incoming information for Finance Division (e-mails, telephone calls, correspondence maintenance, etc.);
• Assist to keep records of the company's documentation and maintain the database;
• Processing and control of primary accounting documents;
• Advance settlement accounting;
• Preparation of the necessary additional documents (orders, acts, regulations) to substantiate the company's operating expenses;
• Assist for Invoice checking according to agreements, production, tax assessment; invoice accounting, preparation and attachment of supporting documents
• Assist in calculation and accounting of accruals and estimates, write-off prepayments, accruals and estimates;
• Participate in correspondence with suppliers on disputable issues, subsequent follow-up;
• Assist with payroll
• Other responsibilities related to accounting and record keeping;
• Assist management of the company upon request.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Very good computer skills, especially MS Excel;
• Good skills in working with office equipment;
• Excellent knowledge of English and Latvian (good knowledge of Russian would be beneficial);
• Business correspondence skills;
• Basic knowledge of finance or accounting will be considered an advantage.
• Accuracy, analytical thinking and attention to detail;
• High sense of responsibility and ability to organize own work;
• Good communication skills and positive thinking;
• Ability to work in a team and result-oriented attitude;
• Initiative and willingness to take on other responsibilities as needed.
