Requirements for candidates
- Demonstrated experience working with Citrix’s suite of tools in an enterprise environment;
- Expertise on system design and engineering;
- Strong knowledge of server hardware configuration, MS Windows 2012/2016/2019, and overall server architecture;
- Skilled in working with load balancing tools and processes such as F5 or Netscaler;
- Demonstrated skill working with VMware/HyperV and virtualization processes and tools;
- Experienced in a fast-paced, high-volume enterprise IT environment
Knowledge of AD; - Solid analytical, problem solving, and writing skills;
- Adaptable to multiple, often-shifting priorities
MCSE, Citrix CCIA or Citrix CCP-V or Citrix CCE-V certifications preferred.
Job description
- Work on innovation roadmaps, maintenance scheduling, life cycle management, and capacity management for the Citrix environment and related dependent technologies;
- Design, implementation, and support of solutions related to Citrix projects and initiatives;
- Manage the day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for the Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environment;
- Collaborate with the Network team to optimize and maintain load balancing;
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps and issues. Drive the analysis and documentation of technical requirements for enterprise Citrix XenDesktop architecture, guiding adoption of and adherence to standard operating procedures;
- Performance tuning and management to provide a high-availability XenApp/XenDesktop environment to eliminate single points of failure;
- Collaborate with Windows/Server team on virtualization initiatives;
- Maintain all documentation as it relates to configuration, processes, service records, asset inventories, topologies, administration manuals, job instructions, support contacts, etc.;
- Participate in developing estimates for level of effort on projects;
- Serve as a lead resource for internal and external clients;
- Design, build, and support directory services, desktop/mobile email, and/or network operating systems in an Internet protocol environment.
