L’Oréal Operations department is currently looking for a Credit Analyst located in Riga, reporting to the Credit Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensures all payments are allocated and matched in an accurate and timely manner (Payment posting and matching)
• Support the company in optimizing financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments on customer accounts.
• Have full ownership of AR monthly closing tasks (cooperation with customers on netting process, Credit Notes, compensation, and deduction management)
• Provide regular support to Credit Manager and Commercial Teams in order to ensure that customer accounts are current and accurate so that effective business decisions can be taken.
• Resolve situations pertaining to litigations and claims involving deliveries, deductions, commercial deals, and returns
• Customer outgoing payment planning and analysis on a weekly basis
• Regular review of open item aging and overdue evaluation in cooperation with the Credit Manager.
• Escalate action on overdue accounts

Requirements

• Experience in accounting/account receivables/account management 
• Experience in Logistic area, Credit management will be an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of English and Latvian in written and oral. Russian language will be an asset;
• Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office software;
• Experience in “SAP” data base system;
• Outstanding communication skills;
• Flexible availability to external & internal clients and able to adapt to their requirements;
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time with a high attention to details.
