As a Head of IT department you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of information technology engagements, such as new customer implementation in production environment, internal development, IT infrastructure management and coordination of IT related issues between different interested parties.

• Practical experience in IT team management
• Understanding of development process
• Understanding of IT infrastructure (network topology, virtualization, backups & restoration etc.)
• Effective and proactive communication skills, ability to resolve conflicts and prioritize tasks
• Good English language knowledge
• Experience working in highly regulated environments is considered beneficial
• Experience in leading/implementing projects of internal process automatization is beneficial

• Ensure uninterrupted IT infrastructure operations
• Plan IT resource for both customer related and internal project implementations
• Organize & manage IT team
• Provide effective coordination & communication between IT and other involved departments
• Plan IT related budget and investments
• Plan IT infrastructure modernization and disaster recovery processes
• Overlook and secure IT department’s resource pool
o Ensuring of sufficient resources and level of competence inside IT dep.
o Co-operation with HR in case of needs / recruits of new IT staff
• Support security team in ensuring compliance with security requirements
• Close co-operation with production sites in Finland and Norway
