What would be your daily responsibilities?
- Edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Film in-house interviews with colleagues, education materials, and in-house events.
- Just be cool and openminded
What are we looking for in a Video/Audio Editor?
- Familiar with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Pluraleyes
- Basic knowledge of how to stream with OBS and ATEM Software
- Well understanding of the theory and aesthetics of graphics creation, color creation, video editing, and audio mixing
- Strength and versatility in working on different styles and formats of projects, including explainer videos, mini-documentaries, promotional material, brand elements, and ads
- Experience in upholding brand and style guidelines
- Knowledge of simple 3D animations is a plus
