Your role:
As A Head of Accounting and Reporting, you will supervise and allocate the work of the Accountancy Section to ensure that all tasks are completed within prescribed timescales.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual revenue and capital budgets
- Monitoring of financial performance and completion of the annual accounts
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies
- Guidelines and procedures for budget administration
- Maintain constant communication with the auditors and banks
- To be main support for CFO
- Monitor tax compliance in cooperation with outsourced service providers
- Daily cash flow management in a Group Level
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team and accounting process
Your professional background and competencies:
- At least 7 years experience in Group accounting and consolidation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting, business, economics or other comparable
- Strong communication skills b in English and Latvian, in the ability to explain financial data and ratios
- Practical experience in auditing, financial reporting and accounting related activities
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement successful, maintainable process changes that improve accuracy, efficiency and timeliness
