The System Engineer - Innovation Solutions will be a member of our L2 Retail IT Operations team. Primary focus will be supporting new and existing innovation technology solutions for the company-owned, franchise, and dealer partner store operations. Working tightly with the business and relevant stakeholders this person will support and underpin the initial solutions and then be responsible for the ongoing handover and support to BAU operational teams.

The position requires a broad IT knowledge and experience with retail systems and a complex retail environment is certainly an advantage. The successful candidate will have the good analytical and critical thinking, be able to deep dive into issues analyze the root causes, and create smart preventative solutions. The role will be in close collaboration with business stakeholders, and external vendors and in alignment with business strategy and requirements to ensure that the IT operations are secure.

English language is a requirement along with good written and oral communication skills. The suitable candidate will be structured, self-driven, and able to work off their own initiative. To be able to adapt to an ever-changing IT landscape, work within a team, and as part of a global organization the candidate will need to be solution-oriented and be confident to take decisions, and take ownership and accountability within the role
