We are looking for the coolest accountant to join the team. You should be confident to fulfill the role of a full-cycle accountant, be open-minded and proactive.

What it takes to be an Accountant at xpate Links. You need to:

- have at least 3-year experience as a full-cycle accountant;
- have a university degree in accounting, economics or finance;
- demonstrate experience in working with Latvian tax system and financial legislations;
- possess experience in passing statutory audits;
- have a good knowledge of EU VAT legislation;
- participate in finding solutions to complex tax matters;
- be proactive and be able to build operational processes from scratch;
- be attentive and be an experienced user of Microsift Office and various accounting programs;
- have good knowledge of Latvian, English and Russian languages;

What you will do:

- organization of the full-cycle accounting process for IT service company in accordance with Latvian legislation;
- lead a statutory audit of xpate Links by the BIG 4 firm;
- advise on tax risks including transfer-pricing in collaboration with external tax advisors;
- prepare financial, annual and operational reports as well as other necessary management and regulatory documentation;
- contribute to implementation of internal accounting processes and procedures and aim for improving internal efficiency;
- provide all the necessary information to the SRS, auditors, authorities and etc.

You will work closely with:

Alex who is our Senior Financial Manager. While he takes care of strategic financial decisions, you will collaborate closely on monthly financial results and and-hoc operational issues. Be ready to navigate both high level and in details as well as take on very practical aspects of financial, tax, accounting, audit functions with him.
